PTFE Manifold Valves are fabricated from Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), an excellent high-performance fluoropolymer that possesses superior chemical resistance and thermal stability. The chemical makeup of the material consists mainly of fluorine and carbon, imparting non-reactive behavior. PTFE is mechanically characterized by a tensile strength of around 20-30 MPa, low coefficient of friction, and superior wear resistance. Physically, it possesses a density of around 2.2 g/cm³, a melting point of around 327°C, and can be used at temperatures from -200°C to +260°C, making it suitable for harsh industrial conditions.
