10,000 PSI Ball Valves are usually manufactured of high-strength stainless steel (SS 316, SS 304), carbon steel, or alloy steel in order to achieve durability and resistance to pressure. Their alloy structure consists of iron, chromium (16-20%), nickel (8-12%), and molybdenum (for SS 316), which strengthen and are more resistant to corrosion. From the mechanical viewpoint, these valves have a tensile strength ranging between 550-750 MPa, yield strength ranging from 250-450 MPa, and an elongation range between 20-30%. Having a density of approximately 7.8-8.0 g/cm³ and high thermal conductivity, they work well under severe operating conditions.
