Hastelloy B2 Needle Valves consist mainly of nickel (67%), molybdenum (26-30%), iron, and traces of cobalt and chromium. This alloy is excellent for resistance against hydrochloric acid and other very aggressive reducing environments. The mechanical properties of these valves are excellent, with a tensile strength of 750 MPa and a yield strength of 350 MPa. These valves have low carbon levels that prevent carbide precipitation, providing them with better weldability. With good thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion, Hastelloy B2 Needle Valves have good structural strength at high temperatures and high pressures.
