Stainless Steel Hydraulic Fittings are generally manufactured using high-grade stainless steel alloys such as 304 and 316. They consist of about 18-20% chromium to provide corrosion resistance, 8-12% nickel to enhance strength and toughness, and 2-3% molybdenum (in case of 316) to ensure better resistance against pitting and crevice corrosion. Mechanically, they have a tensile strength of 515-620 MPa, yield strength of 205-310 MPa, and high ductility. Physically, they are of a density of approximately 7.9 g/cm³ and are able to function optimally within an extensive range of temperatures from -270°C to 870°C, promoting durability and effectiveness.
