Monel syphons and snubbers are mostly made up of a nickel-copper alloy (Monel 400 or K500) with excellent resistance to corrosion, particularly in the marine and acidic environment. They have physical properties such as a high melting point, good thermal conductivity, and low thermal expansion, which guarantee stability in varying operating conditions.
