Stainless Steel 316H Instrumentation Tube Fittings consist of iron, chromium (16-18%), nickel (10-14%), molybdenum (2-3%), and a higher carbon content (0.04-0.10%) than SS 316. The added carbon improves high-temperature strength and creep resistance. Mechanically, SS 316H consists of tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. Physically, its density is 8.0 g/cm³, its melting point is between 1370-1400°C, and it has fine thermal conductivity with which it tolerates extreme situations.
